The locality is characterised by extensive and fertile olive groves with centuries-old trees. The love and devotion for cultivating the land has turned Marco's passion into a vocation. The result is the Pietralata extra virgin olive oil, which originates from the pressing of olives with a healthy and full-bodied texture, exclusively of the Taggiasca variety. The farm therefore offers a superior category oil, with a delicate but intense flavour, obtained by a cold-press process that enhances and maintains its natural characteristics over time.
Traditional harvesting by hand of the olives generally takes place in the months of November, December and January so as to ensure proper ripening of the fruit.
